Center for Creative Child Care

The Center for Creative Child Care (CCCC) provides a comfortable, friendly, fun environment with loving adults to care for your child while you work.  Activities are planned to provide for physical, social, emotional, mental, and spiritual growth of children.  Our philosophy is that the most important things we can do to help prepare children for their future success in school and in life are to help build their own self-esteem and self-confidence, and to help them develop the skills necessary to get along with others.  With those goals as a basis, we use creative and fun games and play to learn basic preschool skills.

About Us

Trinity United Methodist Church's child care center, The Center for Creative Child Care (CCCC), has been serving the Lima community since August of 1982. Our CCCC has been very influential in the lives of many families and has maintained a wonderful reputation as one of the outstanding daycare ministries in the Lima area.

The purpose of the CCCC differs from other centers. Yes, we believe that educating young children is very important, but our families and staff know that teaching is third on our list of three priorities for our children.

The most important thing we teach our children is love.  “My teachers love me and therefore, I can do anything.”

The second most important thing is social skills.  Sharing, taking turns, following directions, using good manners, respecting our friends and teachers.

When you put these things together, being able to teach children “the academics” becomes an easy task.  Area schools have always praised our program for the way our children were prepared when entering their school, not just academically, but socially and emotionally as well.

The CCCC's current enrollment is approximately 120 children and has 24 employees impacting their lives on a daily basis. We care for babies from 6 weeks of age through five/six-year-olds as well as latchkey children. In the summer, we offer care for school-aged children in Kindergarten through 4th grade.

Hours:  6:30 A.M. – 6:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.  The CCCC is closed between Christmas and New Year's.
