Children & Family Ministries
At Trinity UMC, we value intergenerational ministry and welcome children and youth to serve alongside adults in many areas. We also like to offer opportunities for our children and youth to experience God's love alongside their peers. Here are some of those opportunities:
Sunday School
9:15 a.m. – 10:15 A.M. - September thru May. Offered to children 3 yrs old- 6th grade. Children will learn how to apply God’s word in their everyday life by giving of themselves and serving others. They will enjoy crafts, games, videos, drama and other activities.
Kids Own Worship
Your children (or grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or young friends) are invited to attend a new worship experience focused on child appropriate music, crafts, games, snacks and Bible exploration.
Every Sunday, you may drop your child off in the chapel just before the 10:30 A.M. service. While you are in the sanctuary, your child will be learning about God through fun activities, songs and stories. Your child will rejoin you in the sanctuary for offering and communion.
If you are new to our church, do not fear! We have you covered. Our friendly staff will help you navigate along the way so you and your entire family can have a loving worship experience. As usual, please know that anyone of any age is welcome to our worship service. Most parents find it convenient to have a children's ministry that promotes love and respect.
Music
Children perform songs for the congregations during the 10:30 Worship Services one Sunday in the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December. Children learn the songs during Kids Own Worship.
Vacation Bible School
Come and enjoy stories and lessons about Jesus, games, crafts, skits, snacks, and fun, fun ,fun!
Youth Ministry (Middle & High School)
Students are invited to come early for Sunday School for some fun and fellowship time in the Youth Room (9 - 9:30 A.M.). Then from 9:30 - 10:15 we will engage in various discussions and activities that help us connect the Bible and our faith to the situations we encounter on a daily basis. We will meet in the Youth Room, balcony room 308.

We also gather on some Sunday evenings and occasional other times with youth from our church and other faith communities to learn to live our faith in the world. Through community service, retreats, fun events and more we enjoy gathering with other youth to learn, question, grow and serve as disciples of Jesus Christ.
