We have 2 part time positions open at Trinity UMC in downtown Lima, Ohio. Lima Trinity is a diverse community of faith focused on making and nurturing disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Our building is used for worship, Bible study, Hispanic ministry, youth activities, day care, breakfast ministry, free store, Narcotics Anonymous, victims of domestic violence, symphony concerts and more so staff is expected to show radical hospitality to people from all different backgrounds. Background check is required.
Part-Time Custodian:
This part time Sunday morning and weekday evening positions will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining and securing the building. Required hours are Sunday’s from 7am-1pm, and weeknights as scheduled after 5pm up to 20 hours/week. Will need to be able to follow instructions and be a team player while also responsible enough to work independently.
Main Entrance Receptionist
This part time position will be responsible for greeting weekday visitors, keeping building secure and supporting our office manager. We are looking for someone who is friendly, responsible and perceptive in order to be a positive first impression for those entering our building as well as ensure that safety guidelines are followed. Will need basic computer skills and strong organization skills. Will need to be willing to learn about community resources available in order to make appropriate referrals.
